LAUREL, MONTANA 59044 LAUREL AIRPORT AUTHORITY
DEPARTMENT
Meeting was called to order January 26, 1988 by Chairman John H.
Smith at 7:00 PM. Members present were Mary McKamy, Dave Powers,
Bill Brennan and Claude Cory.
Visitors attending the meeting was.Terry Fatzinger.
Minutes of the December 22, 1987 meeting were read and approved as
read. Motion by Claude Cory to approved the minutes seconded by Bill
Brennan, motion passed.
Dr. Smith reviewed the recommendation from last meeting about the Fire
Chief inspect the building at the airport and report on the use of solid
fuel stoves in the buildings.
Smith also requested a letter be sent to Rich Sanford concerning his
lease at the Laurel Airport. The formula passed at the December 22,
1987 meeting is as follows:
Land fifty feet (50 ft) in front of the hanger, land
five feet (5 ft.) on each and land five feet (5ft) on
the back or south side of the hanger building at a
Price of ten Cents (.10) per square foot.
All additional he lease on the ramp, gas pumps and park-
ing , cost is at three cents (.03) per square foot. The
is to be negotiated on the anniversity date every three
years.

Bills presented to be paid are Grainger $10.31. Yellowstone Electric
$54.37, State of Montana land lease $100.00, Montana Aero Nautic $175.31,
Desk Copy Supply &73.60, Special resource Management $200.00, Laurel
Exxon Service Center $44.08, and D_0 Aviation for snowplowing $20.00.
Motion by Mary McKamy all bills be paid, seconded by Claude Cory,
motion passed.
We have to have the reappraisal bids in and sent to FAA. The two
bids are both $800.00. Chairman Smith will take of obtain one of
the two reappraisals.
HKM will make a preapplication for the Seventy Five Thousane ($75,000)
for land and easement.
No further business motion by Mary McKamy adjourn, seconded by Bill
Brennan, motion passed meeting ajdourned at 7:40 P
