The Laurel Airport Authority meeting was called to order by Chaim-an
John Smith at 7:00 PM. Many MaKmy and Dave Powers were in attencance.
Absent were Claude Cory and Bill brennan.
Jim Fels was the only guest in attendance.
The bills presented for payment were, Water pump $222.00, and $50.00 f
for labor totaling $282.00. Telegram protesting the Made "C" trabs-
Ponder were $91.00. Lights were $27.00, Ace Electric for regular re--
Pair $509.51.. McKamy moved bill be paid, second by Dave Powers, motion
passed.
Jam Fels presented a update on the project. The taxway ,,ill be paved
over a week end when time and weather premit. The fence post are in, the seeded
is cmpleted, rocks to the west will be picked if needed-The money allogated
o the project is as follows:
47.8 Acres of land $47,803.00
Appraisal Fee 3,000.00
Negotiator 2,000.00
Legal fees 4,000.00
Engineering 91915.00
Total to date $66,718.00
It maY be Possible to get a $1,000.00 grant frtm the Ibntana State
Aeronautics Board, The FAA has said they will only pay $6,953.oo for
engineering fees.
Rick Sanford's lease and septic tank were brought ;upand it was de-
cided to wait till more members were present to make a final decision.
Meeting adjourned at 9:00 R1.
