June 13, 1988
Meeting of the Laurel Airport Authority was called to order at 7:00 PM
by Chainrian John H. Smith. Present where Mary McKamy, Bill Brennen,
Claude Cory. Absent was Dave Powers.
Minutes of the April meeting were read and approved without corrections.

Bills were read in the amount of $7,853.000 Motion by Claude and Seconded
by Bill we pay all bills as read. Motion passed no decent.
Jhon brought the subject of a grant of $1,000.00 we could obtain from the
State Aeronautic Board. Mary moved we apply for this grant, seconded by
Claude. Motion passed.
Discussion about insurance we have on the airport. We have amil]ion dollars
coverage and the question was asked if this was enough if we had a disaster
at the airport and the airplanes tied down on the ramp were all damaged, if
we had sufficient coverage to cover the number planes. A quick review of
the number planes damaged would only amount approximately $100,000.00 as of
June 13, 1988. Mary moved we approved the insurance of $1,000,000.00 for
liability at the airport, seconded by Bill, motion passed.
NW--t was the discussion of bor#pwrincr $7,000.00 from the State Aeronautics
Board for repairs at the airport. Bill moved we borrow the amount of $7,000
Dollars, second by Claude, motion passed.
No further business to come before the authority motion was made by Mary and
second by Bill we adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 8:50 PM.
