l The meeting of the Laurel Airport Authority was called to order
by Chairman John Smith at 7:OOp.m. Bill. Brennan Roy Zahm, Dave Powers,
and Mary Kasner were present. Jim Fels, Joe Bradley, and Terry
Fatzinger were the guests in attendance.
Roy Zahm made a motion to accept the following bills. Bill
Brennan seconded it.

Avigational easement and right-of-way was purchased from Herman
and Louise E. Schessler for $1560. Joe Bradley attorney, was present
to discuss this and the pending dealings with other property owners.
A sympathy card from the authority will be sent to the family
of John N. Fierce who was killed this week in a plane crash.
Roger Hart will be contacted in regard to baling the vegetation
around the airport. The EAA requested the area be mowed before their
upcoming fly--in on July 14, 1990.
A private, confidential letter discussing a matter concerning
nary Kasner was received by Dr. Smith from.Dorsey and Whitney Law
Firm. All board members were asked to read it. A discussion
followed with only the members of the authority present and Terry
Fatzinger. Upon the advisement of A"ary's attorney it was asked that
the contents of the letter and discussion not be repeated outside
the meeting.
Nary Kasner is putting all the hail hangars and T-hangars that
she owns on the market through r,yles Egan of Better Homes and Gardens
Realty. There was a discussion of a lease eytention for the new owner
or owners. Bill Brennan moved that the leases Nary now has on these
buildings be extended for a period of 20 years from the sale date so the
new owner or owners would have a full 20 year lease. The terms of the
lease would not change, only the dates. This motion was seconded by
Dave Fowers and gassed.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
