The overtime report for PPE 9-10-97 was reviewed.
Discussion_regarding the purchase of a new recording system for the
FAP Complex. Alan received a quote from Dictaphone in the amount
of $19,997.17. The Committee recommended the purchase of this
system which will be paid from the 9-1-1 Fund. Financing for a
period of 2 or 3 years was discussed. Don will get bids from the
local banks.
A purchase requisition was approved in the amount of $19,997.17.
Discussion regarding maintenance on fire engine %3. Darrell
mentioned that the estimated cost is approximately $20,000. The
fire department budget has only $7,500 for vehicle maintenance.
The Committee will look at some options at their next meeting.
Discussion regarding the use of the $3,000 received from the sale
of land to Cenex. A recommendation will be made at a later date.
The meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
