April 28 , 1992
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman John Smith.
Members present were ; Dick Clayton , Bob Western , Bill Brennan
Guests present were none
Minutes of the February 24 , 1992 meeting were approved as read.
Bills presented were : none
Smith reported tht a company in Kalispel indicated that it would cost
about $ 30,000 to install credit card operated gas pumps and 10,000 gallon
underground gas tanks.
Dave Powers said it would cost about the same.
We would need a separate phone line to operate pumps and a Visa or Master
card.It would cost us 21 %. -
We will try to budget about $ 25,000 for this item.
After much discussion it was suggested that we meet with the F.B.O.'s and
local aircraft owners and operaters to discuss use of the pumps and
the best location to install them.
We are not recieving much gas tax from the airport.Check with Will Metz
to see where he's getting his fuel and if he's paying the tax.
Discussed the City of Laurel controlling building at the Airport instead
of the State of Montana.Pending.
