The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman John Smith.
Members present were.; Bob Western , Roy Zahm , Dick Clayton
Guests present were ; Bob Redding Will Metz
Minutes of previous meeting were unavailable.
Bills were read , discussed and approved.
Discussed fuel system proposal.We will meet with contractors on April 13,1993 to
discuss costs ete.Bob Redding suggested setting a "small business"in order to get
a loan for the proposed fuel system.He will pursue that angle and report back.
Discussed buildind a rest area or shelter in the Airport park to provide shelter for
pilots , passengers , and probably skydivers.
Discussed new Airport Master P1an.Books were handed out from Morrison / Maierle and
H.K.M. Engineering.containing thier respective proposals.
Will Metz dba Top Hand Spraying would like to construct a containment/recovery system
at his hangar.This should contain any chemical spillage and recover contaminated water
from plane and tank washdown.The Authority voted to allow him to establish plans for
this project.
Discussion was held concerning cracks in the runway.Some of them are getting quite
bad.The edges of the pavement are starting (or continuing) to crumble-Will suggested
talking to the City maintainence crew for suggestions.
