Craig Canfield of H.K.M. reported that the F.AAA. grant hasn't been approved yet
for the Master Plan update so nothing has been done yet,He explained that F.A.A.
regulations have changed since the last Master Plan requiring more lateral clear
space particularly with a non-precision approach runway.
Suggestions made to him for inclusion in the new Master Plan were ;
Drop the non-precision approach designation (if possible)
Move runway 22/4 north and east.
Level and lower existing tie down ramp.
Whatever is included in the plan additional land must be acquired-the more the better
We need a culvert across the road above F'elkes hangar.
Ordered 6 motion detector lights for installation on hangars.
Rick Sanford sprayed the Airport for knapweed.
Unicom radio is not functioning properly.Rick will call Mont.Aero. in Helena.
Voted to refund $110.00 to Herman ????? for unused tiedown fee.
We need to set up a system of monitoring planes tying down for extends periods of
time and not paying tie down fees.

There is a garbage container in the new hangar area that gets emptied weekly
but it needs to be moved to the gravel road so that the garbage truck does not
drive on the taxiway.
The E.A.A. recieved permission to locate an "outhouse" East of the new hangars
to comply with all existing regulations.
Will Metz requested that we hire someone to plow snow early in the mornings.
We explained that all plowing and most maintainence work at the Airport is done
on a volunteer basis and that several thousand hours of labor is donated by various
parties to keep the Airport functioning within our budget. We will try to train
several other people to operate the snowplows but it also entails keepimg the
equipment maintained.
Meeting was adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
