Meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. W Chairman John Smith.
0 Members present were ; Bob Western , Bill Brennan
October 24 , 1995
Guests present were ; Bob Redding , Rich'McKamy , Mike Strong , Frank Wagner
Frank Felke , Kerri & Dave Donavan , Chris Fraser ( PDX,CR.)
and Craig Canfield of H.K.M.
Minutes of the August , 1995 meeting were approved as read.
Bills presented were ;
H.K.M. eng.fees 5,130.00
Northern Skies gasoline 7.43
Visual Prod. stationary & env. 56.50
Yell.Vall.Elec. power bill 72.70
Motion by Western to pay bills,seconded by Brennan.Passed.
8ecieved a request from the E.A.A. that we pay $135.00 rental fee on portable toilet
they rented for thier Fly In. Request denied.
Discussed fuel being hauled onto Airport and not paying 5¢ tax.
Hangar owners have been billed $ 90 Q by M.D.U. This should have been paid to
0 Airport not M.D.U. Will research.
Craig Canfield from H.K.M. presented a Master Plan update.
F.A.A. insists on minimum of 4,800 foot runway.
We must contact all Montana and northern Wyoming F.B.C.& with a questionair to
justify " standards".
H.K.M. will preapply for F.A.A. grant (land acquisition only or whole project ?)
We wont recieve grant monies until project is complete.
Will submit grant application to State.Target date ,Jan.199? award contract Spring 1997.
Discussed buying land before F.A.A. approval of project.Would we be re-imbursed?
New taiway should be milled and overlaid.11idland-O,Leary is dragging it's feet and
wants to patch and chipseal bad areas.Action pending.
Trade Port Authority may have grant money available.Will investigate.
Dave Donavan (skydivers) wants to put timer on sprinkler system.Approved.Discussed wind
tee.Must be clear of line of sight.Should move trailer in "off "season.
