The Special meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman John Smith.
Members present were ; Roy Zahm , Bob Western , Bob Spannagel , Bill Brennan
Bills presented were ;
Northern Skies Aviation gasoline 70.84
Laurel Outlook ad/public hearing 28.00
Moved by Brennan , seconded by Western to pay balls.Passed.
Bids were recieved for consult-in engineers from H.K.M. said Interstate Engineering.
Craig Canfield has left the employ of K.K.M. and is now manager of the Billings
office of Interstate.
Moved by Western , seconded by Zahm to accent the bid from Interstate.Passed.
Chairman Smith will handle correspondence informing bidding parties of our
decision.
As soon as Environmental study is completed Canfield will submit Airport proposal
to the F.A.A. for approval.
The F.A.A. wants us to acquire land by October . They will reimburse us later.
We will through Interstate hire an arbitrator to assess and purchase land.
Loans may be available through Montana Aeronauties Department but not certain.
Loans are available through State Board of Investments at 4.55 .
