Meeting called to order at 1900 by Chairman John Smith.
Members present were Bob Western and Bill Brennan.
Guests listed separately.
Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved with changes of two dates.
Bills were read and approved.
Chairman Smith presented the letter sent to hangar owners in"old hangar area'.'
Billings Overhead Doors will re install the doors on the equipment building. Chairman
Smith reported that he met with representatives of a company offering smaller more
affordable hangars while in St.Louis.Waiting for more information.
Craig Canfield reported that the new taxiway signs and P.A.P.I.wiring have been
completed.L.T.V.survey-airiel photos and mapping.are completed,obstruction survey in
progress.Will be turned over to F.A.A. for evaluation and approval.
"The F.A.A.concurred with the report that the"old hangar area"has no historical
significance.This study,done at the demand of Doug Poehls cost us over$6,000.00 or
between$60,000 and$120,000 in matching funds.
Veterans cemetery may conflict with obstruction zone.Will need to co-ordinate with
Cemetery Board and F.A.A.
Felice is proceeding with demolition of the old Pierce hangar.
We need to replace the Ford tractor.
Meeting adjourned at 1940 and we went into executive session to discuss the threatened
litigation against the Authority by Timothy Whelen and friends.Executive session
adjourned at 2000.
