PARKING COMMITTEE

A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
Much discussion on the present 2-hr. parking district. After lengthy
discussion the following recommendations are being made:
Include 112 block on the south side of 3rd Street by Laurel Federal
Credit Union.
Delete from the district the south side of E. Main from Colorado Ave.
to Wyoming Ave.
Delete Pennsylvania Avenue from E. Main to lst.Street.
Delete the north side of E. Main from Wyoming Ave. to Pennsylvania
Ave.
There are attempts being made to negotiate with Mr. Blackburn to
make a public parking lot across the street from the Palace.
The committee recommends that the Police Committee come to some con-
clusions with the Police Department, the City Judge and the City
Attorney in collecting these 2--hr. tickets that have failed to show.
How do we handle parking while a building is under construction in
the CBD area?
