A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
Building two walls with walk-thru doors in the bay area will-save
on heat bill, keep exhaust fumes out of offices. Heat budget was
$15,000 -- $10,432 left. There are credits coming back from MDU.
There are 3 contract bids: the lowest under $3000. The committee
recommends a budget transfer and get this done.
Alan is to check on another communication recorder at Helena
at a very good price.
Alan and Darrell suggested adding another line item in the budget
to cover repairs, etc., that involve police, fire and ambulance.
Gary Temple discussed two public parking lots: one at Blackburns
and another at Fireman's Park. What dollars can the City contri-
bute, if any? The Chamber of Commerce would like to get at least
one lot in this year.
Orchid Cleaners requested a 10-min. zone in front of the store.
Committee recommends against this.
Meeting adjourned at 5 pm.
