Parking COMMITTEE

A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
The Committee discussed the Ordinance on 4 hour and reserved
parking in the City lot.
Joe mentioned that he checked with the tow truck operators
and found that they won't tow unless the Police write a ticket
and make the call. Joe also recommended we drop the reserve
parking and consider the Chambers recommendation of making
the whole lot 4 hour parking.
After further discussion Chuck Dickerson made a motion to
accept the Chambers recommendation to make the lot a 4 hour
parking lot with no reserved parking. Two spaces will be made
available for handicapped only parking. This will be for a
1 year period to be reviewed again at that time. Gary Temple
seconded, motion passed 4--0.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:10 p.m., with the next meeting
scheduled as needed.
