A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
The Museum will be shut down from Oct. 1, 1989 to
April 30, 1990. Will be used 4 to 5 hours a week. They would like
to pay 1/9 of the utility bills or $40.00 per month, whichever
is less. On May 1st they will begin paying the agreed lease
amount R-/-? a month). Committee recommends approval of the
request.`/3
The roof still leaks, on the Museum, and the Committee would
like this matter looked into.
Museum, Inc., would like a 3-year lease. Joe recommended to
keep the lease at 1-year because of the flexibility, or to delete
the 30-day notice from both parties and go with a 1-year lease.
Motion by Gary Temple, seconded by Darrell McGillen to grant
the Museum a 3-year lease to begin July 1, 1990. Motion carried.
3-1. This matter will be turned over to the City Council for
approval.
