A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by
the Committee:
Cal Cumin gave a presentation of off street parking concerning
building ordinances and parking lot regulations.
Blue Bell Antiques wants to change the parking in front of
their building from 3 hour to 2 hour (2 spots). Connie Lind had
taken a survey in May and provided information. The Committee
could not make a recommendation and refered it to the council.
Collette Decker and First Security Bank employees had complained
about 2 hour parking in their area. The Committee recommends
eliminating 2 hour parking on the north side of First Street from
Montana Avenue to the alley in front of the Merchants Apartments.
The Committee recommends eliminating 2 hour parking on 2nd
Avenue from Main to First . st .FEt;
Discussion was held on Firemen's Park, the City's lot and
additional parking lots. No changes are recommended at this time.
The Committee strongly urges the City Council to budget
for next year for painting parking places on streets in the
parking district.-
The meeting was adjourned at $:15 p.m.
