CITY HALL PRESENT: Chuck Rodgers Darrell McGillen Rick Musson Jim Flisrand Norman Orr Bud Johnson Discussion regarding the advertisement of City property located in Cherry Hill Subdivision, 2nd Filing. The City of Laurel owns 15 undeveloped residential lots that have been advertised a few years ago, however no bids were received. There has been some interest from developers to purchase lots in the area and it would be beneficial to advertise these lots at this time. Motion by Darrell McGillen, seconded by Bud Johnson, that we advertise for sale as soon as is feasible. Motion carried. Discussion on security issues throughout the building and other possible remodeling. Motion by Darrell McGillen, seconded by Norman Orr, that the City proceed with the designed improvements in the Public Works and City Clerks offices first and schedule as money allows additional improvements concerning the council chambers. Acoustical concerns need to be reviewed in the council chambers prior to any construction. Motion carried.
