A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:

meted concern in our request
for a fire-truck last year and felt.it would rank higher this year if
requested again. At this time we_have no fire fighting equipment
for buildings two stories and above. The need for a ladder truck
is definite.
Motion by Sharon Herman to try for the fire truck this year, seconded
by Don Hackmann. Passed.
The committee considered all suggestions that were indicated at the
public hearing of June 18, 1985, and ranked them in the following
order:
1. fire truck
2. library
3. water reservoir
4. water mains
5. swimming pool
Various suggestions were made in regard to random surveys such as
direct mailing, surveys sent with water-bills, calling every 10th
person in the telephone directory, contacting people door to door.
The next committee meeting-will be July 17, 1985, for the purpose
of discussing last year's application and ways to improve it.
Meeting was adjourned at 5:42 p.m.
