GARBAGE COMMITTEE

A. Members present: Chairman Marvin Carter
Dave Michael Vern Halvorson Curt Riemann,
B. Other's present: Jim Redman
A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
Western Equipment offered a full-service lease of a compactor
at $3,400/mo.
Pits at new landfill: Need 3 pits 18' deep, 60' wide. Fence
to be built. Reseed old landfill. Motion from Curt Riemann
to have bids for 1, 2, and 3 pits, seconded by Vern Halvorson.
Carried.
Discussion of garbage survey. Check Jan's IGA. Write letter
asking him to next meeting about his garbage.
Discussion of flat rate and permit system.
Meeting adjourned at 5:55 p.m. Next meeting to be April 13th.
