Members present: Chairman Marv Carter Vern Halvorson, Larry Peterson , B. Other's present: Jim Redman 5 A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by the committee: - -- Items for discussion: 1) Letter from George Fox. Committee recommends sending a letter to George explaining the City's responsibility vs homeowners. Committee recommends drawing up a resolution and/or ordinance having the developer furnish container pads and wind screens. 2) Committee recommends that the City furnish a truck through the business district when needed to haul away tail pipes, tires, etc. 3) Motion from Larry Peterson, second by Vern Halvorson, to remove spot cans from Tubman Park, Kiwanis Park and Russell Park. 4) Recommendation to survey areas to.see if we can cut back to once a week pickup. 5) Committee recommends we rent equipment to start a new pit. 6) Larry Peterson to write letters to the people in Casa Linda Circle explaining our -policy on 300-gallon containers. 7) New truck to be.delivere'd February 20th. 8) Line items in December readout should correct themselves.
