GARBAGE COMMITTEE

A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
The following items were discussed and recommendations were made:
1) Trucks are working fine and the men adjusting well to the
new trucks.
2) The committee recommends having-Johnson Distributing Co.
convert the Emko into a dump truck for a cost of $3,999.
3) The City has taken possession of all wind rings.
4) The committee recommends ordering metal containers from
Johnson Distributing.at a cost of $274.00. We will try
five (5) on a trial basis.
5) The question was raised whether the Garbage Department is
receiving money from other City entities: City Hall, Sewer,
Water, Park, Shop, FAP, etc.
6) The committee would like to see some kind of building for
housing the Bomag and Cat.
7) The committee compared past budgets to observe increases in
the budget: 81---82 $1847800
82--83 225,760
83--84. 235,980
8) Fall cleanup is scheduled the first week of November.
