A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
Marvin Carter.reported that Murray Heights group was circulating a
petition for a 7 a month rate increase.
Home Occupation license (Section 8.12.032) was dis'cussed. After
discussion, Larry moved, Vern seconded, to increase the Home Occupation
rate for the 36 licenses. Motion carried. Chairman asked City Hall
to notify these people of this change and to be at the January 16th
meeting to discuss with the committee this rate change.
Yellowstone Baptist-School rate increase. Check aut present rate
and set at the January 16th meeting.
Letter from Meadowlark Apartments asking-for rate reduction.
After discussion the committee decided to instruct Meadowlark of
their good.rate and leave as is.
Bomag: Henry's Safety had submitted a bid to upgrade fire protection
and safety of the Bomag. Lonnie moved, Vern seconded, to accept
Henry's Safety Supply bid of $971.00 for partial upgrading of the
Ansul fire suppression system on the Bomag. Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
THINGS TO DO IN 1984
The committee needs to look at the following items on the Garbage
and Landfill system:
1. Housing the Bomag.
2. Continue the fire suppression for the Bomag.
3. Continue study of the recycling system by Laurel Recycling Center.
4. Periodic inspection of equipment and reports.
5. Constant update on rate charges.
6. Continue working with Murray Heights committee.
7. Convince the crew to take PRIDE in their work and take pride
in their equipment. `--
8. Good luck to the new committee chairmen.
