GARBAGE COMMITTEE

A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
1) Discussion of damage to pickup belonging to Larry Gregory-of
1210 W. Maryland. Leave it up to the insurance carrier.
2) Mike Miller, 1109 W. 12th Street presented a petition to move
the the garbage can to the alley. Motion from Vern Halvorson,
PrP3second by Norman Orr, to move the garbage can from the side-
walk to the alley. Carried.
3) Discussion of garbage rate being charged to Security Federal
coo-=\ Savings & Loan Gary Temple. Motion by Vern Halvorson,
Pr` second. by Norman Orr; to change the present rate of $21 to
?" .,.,-8 $14.00. Carried.
4) Discussion of digging at the landfill. Motion by Vern
ce Halvorson, second by Norman Orr, to rent a machine and
P'Ppr00 dig a pit at an approximate cost of between $6500 and
117 $7000.
5) Discussion of mud problem at the landfill during inclimate
weather. All businesses should be treated the same. If you
pull one out, pull all out (such as Cenex, BN, etc.). Dis
courage residential dumping during inclimate weather. Perhaps
post a sign stating to "enter at own risk."
Next regular meeting will be March 17, 1986, 5 pm.
Meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
