B. Other's present: Jim Flisrand ,
A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
Jim Flisrand reported that he was writing the specifications
for bids for the landfill. Jim has been in touch with the
EPA concerning their regulations. Specs.will be advertised
and released August 20th with sealed bids received at regular
Council meeting September 2nd.
Some recommendations were made as to what the committee would
like to see in specs.
Curt Riemann submitted a bill for damage to his garbage rack
that he believes was done by a City garbage truck. He wants
the City to split the cost of his estimate for damage. Total
estimate is $389.00, our cost to be $194.50. Vern Halvorson
made the motion to pay for damage in the amount of $194.50,
second from Ed Steffans. Motion carried. Curt abstained.
Meeting adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
