A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the committee:
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 by Bob Graham, Chairman.
Ernie Davis updated us on the proposal to haul garbage to Billings
for disposal.
A comparison was made of the present cost of garbage pickup and
disposal, $ 216,937.00, to the cost of pickup and hauling to
Billings, $ 196,196.00, which is a savings of $ 20,741.00.
Ernie also presented a proposal for a transfer site at the present
dump. The cost of construction and operation were discussed in
depth. Further study will be done on this proposal.
Bob Graham again mentioned L.D. Collins idea of using a coulee
for a further dump site.
