OTHER'S PRESENT:
A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by
the Committee:
.Jim Worthington clarified how the assessment was made on the
commercial garbage collection. They are in accordance with the
1982 schedule.
Following a lengthy discussion a motion was made by Marvin
Carter, seconded by Ed Steffans to raise the garbage rate $1.00
per month per unit for both residential and commercial:'users.
Motion.carried 4--2.
Marvin Carter requested an analysis of the commercial users.

Richard Barnhardt of Richard's Repair had a complaint about
being charged extra for extra dumping. Motion was made by
Marvin Carter, seconded by Ed Steffans to forgive the bill.
Jim Flisrand commented on a composting site to be opened
west of Billings. We may be able to dump certain items cheaper
there than hauling them to the Billings Landfill. Jim also
mentioned the feasibility of buying a compactor..
