A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by
the Committee:
Discussed a letter from the Solid Waste regarding securing loads
that are on their way to the Landfill. There will be a letter
in the newspaper regarding this, and a sign on the road.
Dave presented a proposal from GRI to do testing procedures
for the closure of the present dump. The Committee will study
and review it for the next meeting.
Dave presented plans for the transfer site. Discussion was held
on the proposal.
Motion by Marvin Carter, seconded by Gay Easton, to accept
the concept of the transfer site., Motion was carried.
