A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by
the Committee:
Discussion on a letter from the Department of Health and
Environmental Sciences, Solid and Hazardous Waste Bureau.
The temporary Transfer Site license ended May 3, 1992.
The license may be extended to January 1, 1993, by written
request, if it meets the following three conditions:
1. Submit a complete license application by Jan. 1, 1993.
2. Submit a closure plan for the Landfill and bring the
facility into complete compliance.
3. Written request to extend the Transfer Site temporary
license by June 30, 1992.
Discussion on a request for a garbage can fence (three sided)
at 1002 2nd Avenue. The Committee recommends a single sided 6 foot
fence on the property line.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
