A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by
the Committee:
Dave Michael reported on the compaction unit they toured
in Forsyth.
Larry Thomas reported on the Roundup Transfer Site.
Jim Flisrand reported on the consultant from Helena on
the transfer site. Dave Michael reported that GEO Research will
do the total closure of our Landfill.
Motion by Gay Easton, seconded by Marvin Carter; to invite
the consultant from Helena to come to a committee meeting. The
consultants name is Berry Damschen of Damschen Associates.
Dave reported that the City worker's were instructed to not
accept concrete or bricks to be put into the Landfill site.
Discussion was held on equitable charges to some customers
for garbage disposal. Dave will help on this matter.
Jim Flisrand will give the committee a name of a technician
to pump off freon. The name will be put into the paper for
publication to the City residents.
