OTHER'S PRESENT:
A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by
the Committee:
Jim explained the hydrogeologic study plan by GEO Reasearch
submitted to the State for their approval. GEO Research submitted
a list of drillers for the City's review.
Motion by Albert Ehrlick, seconded by Marvin Carter, to
proceed with one of the two low bidders as submitted. Motion
carried.
Jim explained where we are on the closure plan being prepared
by GEO Research to be submitted to the state next week for their
approval.
We have had a request from a resident on Casa Linda Circle
for 90 gallon garbage cans. The committee recommends 90 gallon
cans if the majority of residents want them.
Dave gave a report on the Bomag from the landfill:
a) Water in one cylinder with possible cracked head.
b) Journal #4 turned on crank with possible cracked
crank.
The committee recommends not putting any further repairs into
the Bomag.
Dave gave a report on the scraper:
a) Shaft that drives the PTO on the flywheel is stripped.
b) Replace the rear seal
c) Replace seal in transmission
4) Replace clutch springs.
