A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by
the Committee:
Discussion was held on three concerns:
1. Should Laurel have a container site or
a transfer site?
2. The presentation of Laurel's garbage collection
and disposal by BFI. 3-.9tr
3. Budget recommendation for 1999-3.
After further discussion on the above the following action
was taken by the Committee.
Motion by Larry Thomas, seconded by Marvin Carter that the
City Council develop a container site. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Jim Flisrand, seconded by Albert Ehrlick, to
Coc?c?r recommend to City Council that the City continue to operate the
?.Pfara.: container site, and not go with BFI. Motion carried.
Budget recommendations will be made to the City Council and
Finance Committee.
