Motion by Dave Michael, seconded by Gay Easton, that the existing rate stay. Motion carried. Dave informed the committee that if the City would accept the garbage from out of state that there would be a .27 cents per ton charge to the State. This does not apply to the City. Dave informed the Committee that the City received the trailer through the Air Pollution from the State of Montana. It will be used as an office at the Container site. Jim reported that the State, as of July 1, 1993, doesn't have control over the container sites or control over the construction of sites. The City needs to apply for a Class 3 dump site at a later date. Jim reported that the State inspector inspected the old Landfill site. Jim feels that the inspector was satisfied by_our efforts and completed work. Jim also reported that GEO Resources are ready to proceed. To finish their plan, however, they want more money. Jim recommended that we wait and see what the State wants and needs before we proceed with GEO Resources. Dave reported that Boulder is still interested in the Bomag for parts. We should know more in July. Respectfull submitted, Bob Graham, Chairman
