FIRE COMMITTEE

A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
Major topic of discussion was annexing the airport into District 5. At
the present time the airport is covered by the City. Vern Halvorson moved,
seconded by Rob Harris, that the fire protection continues at the airport
until the Airport Authority is able to join District 5. Motion carried.
Dave Powers will chair this project.
The committee recommends the establishment of a truck committee. This
committee will study the feasibility and the recommendations of ISO and
report back to the Fire Committee.
Next meeting will be January 16, 1984.
Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
