A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
The Fire Committee met with the Fire Truck Committee to
discuss the needs of the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department.
It was brought out in discussion that our present pumpers
(1952--600 gpm)(1964-1000 gpm)(1976--1250 gpm) for a total
of 2850 gpm, are - according to our insurance underwriter,
ISO from San Francisco, CA. - 1000 gpm short for our fire
rating.
After more discussion, the following recommendation was made
by the committee:
That we pursue the purchase of a truck with pumping capacity
of 1500 gpm and that this truck be equipped with 75 ft.
aerial capabilities.
Meeting adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
