A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
The purpose of this meeting with the districts was to receive their
input as to how the fire department is living up to their committment
for fire service. The district representatives gave the fire service
a very high rating. They did raise several questions during the
meeting:
1) Is it possible to administer fire inspections?
2) Can the City Treasurer notify the districts when tax payment is due?
3) What is going on at Emmer Lumber and is it in the district?
Chief McGillen gave an overview of the 1984 callouts and various
activities of the LVFD.
We established the following dates for negotiating; contracts:
Dist. 7 - Feb. 21 - 7 pm
Dist. 5 - Feb. 25 - 7 pm
Dist. 8 - Mar. 11 - 7 pm
Airport Authority - Mar. 11 - 7:30 p.m.
Meeting adjourned at 8:30 pm.
