BUSINESS LICENSE COMMITTEE

A quorum (3 or more).present the following action was taken by
the committee:
The Committee reviewed and took the following action on the following
Business License applications-;
Howard McNew D.B.A. Laurel Conoco Bulk Plant
Committee recommends Council approval.
Sandra Champlin D.B.A. Lennox Apartments
Committee recommends Council approval.
Roger Olson D.B.A. Olson Distributing wholesale sausage sales ( Helena
Committee recommends Council approval.
The committee discussed City Liquor rates.
A motion was made by Curt Reimann seconded by Dave Gauslow and passed by the
Committee that we recommend to the Council , the following ;
That the Beer License , the Beer & Wane License , and the All-Liquor
License fee be raised 20 96 per year for the next three years effective
July 1,1983.
Committee also discussed adjusting all other Business License fees for 1984.
The Committee discussed the fact that at this time none of the Beer Distributers
doing business in Laurel has a City Business License.We intend to rectify this
oversight.
