A quorum of 3 or more being present,the following action was taken by the Committee
Problems concerning lieesaing Asphalt Service & Supply , Inc. were discussed with
Mr. Hagman and Mr. Goodlake.After hearing the numerous complaints the following conclusions
were reached ;
The area is zoned Light Industrial which:would cover A.S.S.I.'s operation.
A fire dyke has been constructed.
A.S.S.I. intends to construct a chain link fence with a plastic liner around
thier property to alleviate boxes & sacks blowing.These will be picked up by
Montana Recycling regularly.
The problem of offensive odors was dieoussedeThe rubber additive is relatively
odorlese.The probable source is R.C.Cutback oecassionaly used.A.S.S.I. discussed
thier willingness and desire to install a vapor recovery system.
Truck drivers are being encouraged to use 5th avenue as such as possible rather
than Railroad Street.
This is a 24 hour a day operation during the six month season.During the "off"

season maintainence will be performed along with possible manufacture of crack sealer.
The Committee cannot find any legal reason to deny this License and therefore
submits it to the Council as a whole.
