Linger's Glass-already licensed; this is a change of business 603 W. Main location only. Committee recommends approval pending fire inspection. Wobig Distributing- Has already had city county approval and committee 515 Idaho Ave. also recommends approval, no fire inspection re- quired. -- Pizza Hut-This was a request for beer-wine license; special review and public hearing already completed. Recommend approval as they have received their State license. 5. Committee discussed proper procedure in the future for handling City License applications. It was decided that we would like the build.ing department to inform, would be applicants, of commercial business, to first find out if, in fact, they can even be licensed. The committee feels we should screen each applicant meaning their presence will be required at city county planning meeting, if it is a home.occupation, then attend City License committee meeting and finally the council meeting, the reason for all this is in case there are questions. 6. Jim called to our attention the probability of "someone" leasing the land just north of Pizza Hut and south of Western Drug for the purpose of selling railroad ties. Whoever the person is, he has not applied for a license and the committee will take a good, hard look at this when it does come about. 7. Chuck asked that he, as chairman, be given a copy of all license that are issued "on the spot," such as peddlers and door to door sales people, so that if he gets calls he will know if they are licensed. Meeting adjourned at 6:30P.M. Chuck Dickerson, Chairman
