A quorum 0 or ]Moore) present the following action was taken by the committee s
1. After discussion about complaints received on Bryan Conners the committee
recommends that Joe write a letter to him about this and also doing
business when denied a license.
2. Reviewed the following license applications:
ABC Buildings - 211 North 15th - Billings
Recommended approval.
Country Carpet'Cleaners - 3437 Blue Creek Rd - Billings
Recommended approval.
Kis Photo - 613 East Main - Laurel
Recommended approval pending fire inspection.
3. Treasurer reported to committee that she had charged off
$1,380.00 license receivable. fQr fiscal 1985-86.
4. Committee reviewed new license charges for 1986-87 and
after going over all 528 of them Alan moved that all of
them be issued new license with the exception of Asphalt
Supply - our committee will wait for council approval -
second by Curt and committee approved unanimously.
5. Committee discussed the amendment to the Home Occupation
Ordinance requested by City County Planning and would
like the council to know our committee agrees with it,_
however, Alan moved and Curt seconded to add Section F,
NO RETAIL SALES FROM HOME because of traffic. Committee
would like input from council on this.
6. Discussed garage sales and committee recommends to council
that every person planning a garage sale should have to
apply for a permit costing $5.00. The reason for this is to
eliminate "Perpetual" garage sales.
