Members present: Chairman Chuck Dickerson nn , Don Me ers , Alan Crowe -furt Earl Linger, L.D. Collins, Jeanette o ec_e or eg amerzel. 8. Other's present: Rob Harris ,C rl s & Linda Simeod A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by the committee: Charles & Linda Simeon applied for a license for Laurel Optical. Alan Crowe made a motion to grant the license-pending approval of fire inspectors recommendations. Curt Riemannseconded, motion passed. This will be presented to the council 9-1-87. Rob Harris applied for a license for Northwest Toppers, a sub- sidiary of Fiberglass.Construction. Earl Linger moved to grant this license pending a fire inspection. L.D. Collins seconded, motion passed. 'Don Keefe has applied for a license for stump grinding, he was not in attendance. Alan Crowe moved to grant this license pending approval of city-county planning board. Don Meyers seconded, motion passed. There have been three licenses issued 1.Montana Signworks, Don Meyers moved L.D. seconded, motion passed. 2.Brown Plumbing & Heating, Don Meyers Alan Crowe seconded, motion passed. 3.Rodreick Lumber, Don Meyers moved to Riemannseconded, motion passed. previously: to grant this license, moved to grant this license, grant this license, Curt There have been three home occupation licenses already approved by committee, city-county planning board and the council. 1.Deep Reach Carpet Cleaning, Alan Crowe moved to grant this license, Don Meyers seconded, motion passed. 2.Big Bob's All-Sport Discount, Don Meyers moved to grantthis license, Alan Crowe seconded, motion passed, one vote against, 3.Double D Publishing,.Earl Linger moved to table this application until further information can be obtained. Alan Crowe seconded, motion passed. There was.discussion of the increasing number of Home Occupation Licenses and the possibility of controlling them in the future. This will be brought up for discussion at the council meeting 9-1-87. Don Meyers moved to adjourn the meeting at 5:25 p.m., L.D.
