A QUORUM (3 or MORE) PRESENT, THE FOLLOWING ACTION WAS TAKEN
BY THE COMMITTEE:
The committee reviewed the following:
1. Midland Roofing operating in Laurel downtown business
district without going through the proper channels.
A second letter should be sent to notify Midland that
their business license will be suspended unless they
comply with our ordinances.
2. Disscussion was held reviewing the license fee of
babysitters with six (6) or less children..-Some of
.the members feel the $50.00 fee is high considering
it is limited to the amount of income. The committee
is asking the council for any input they might have
on this, so more ideas will help the committee in
making a recommendation to council.
