The meeting was called to order at 6:07 p.m. in the council
Chambers. Subject of discussion was numerous customer complaints
made to the City about the business known as Best Value Home
Improvement Center, owned by William E. Goff.
Captain Slaymaker, in charge of the investigation, reported
that he had documentaion of 40 complaints, 22 of which money
having been paid but no services received. The police file has
been turned over to the Yellowstone County Attorney for review.
Joe Bradley advised the committee about ordinance procedures
for instituting a review of the business license and possible
revocation after a council hearing.
Motion by L.D. Collins, seconded by Gay Easton, to
recommend to the Council that the review and hearing procedure
be started as soon as possible.
