LICENSE COMMITTEE
AUGUST 22, 1995 5:00 P.M.

Jim Flisrand reported to the committee that the business, Ray's
Concrete will not co-operate with the building department. He won't
work with Jim on inspections. He is pouring concrete before Jim
arrives, so Jim can't inspect the work.
Vicki Metzger stated that Ray has not picked up his business
license, and has not provided the bond necessary to get his
license.
The committee recommends the police write Ray's Concrete a citation
next time he is in violation with the Engineer Department and/or
the Treasurer's Department.
Jim Flisrand will provide Vicki with the provisions Ray's Concrete
must follow before a license will be issued.
Coast to Coast had asked the committee to review why he should have
so many business licenses. Dean Rankin was not present at the
meeting. The committee recommends that this year Dean Rankin
continue to pay for all his licenses. The committee will take this
next year to review the license ordinances.
Discussion on Richard Barnhardt's horse training business. The
committee is unsure whether he is working the business in the city
limits or not. The committee recommends Mike Atkinson, Joe Leckie,
and Cal Cumin looking into this further.
