On April 17, 2019 the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department accepted the reinstatement letter for Sean
Parkinson by a unanimous vote.
Mr. Parkinson had resigned from the Laurel Fire/ EMS in 2016 due to moving just outside the Fire
District. A recent change to his life has brought him back to Laurel and he wishes to continue
serving the great city of Laurel. Sean is a 7 year veteran of the Department as well as he was a
Deputy Fire Marshal at the time of resignation.
Please accept Mr. Parkinson's reinstatement back to the Department.
