• Resolution No. R08-132: Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a construction
contract with COP Construction for the immediate replacement of the missing water
intake lids from the City's water intake structure located in the Yellowstone River.
Mayor Olson stated that the meeting was called to discuss Resolution No. R08-132. He stated that
he signed the contract prior to the meeting by the emergency authorization allowed him by the
council. The contract reflects a small increase to the one originally presented to the council. The
original contract was for $94,500 and this contract is for $103,453. The slight increase is due largely
to the fact that, through the efforts of city staff, another underwater diving agency was contacted.
Since the agency is located out of the state, there are mobilization and demobilization costs.
Council Member Dickerson recommended that a roll call of the council be taken at this time.
Mayor Olson called for the roll call of the council at this time.
