BEING AN ORDINANCE DECLARING IT TO BE A MISDEMEANOR TO
BLOCK A RAILROAD CROSSING IN THE CITY OF LAUREL AND DE-
CLARING AN JiMERGENCY:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAUREL:
Section 1. That from and after the effective date of this
Ordinance, it is hereby declared to be a misdemeanor, punishable as pro-
vided in Revised Ordinances of the City of Laurel, 1961, for anyone to
block a railroad crossing for any longer than fifteen (15) continuous minutes
within the corporate limits of the City of Laurel, so that traffic cannot
cross the same.
Section 2. An emergency is herewith declared to exist and
this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of Laurel
this 21st day of September, 1971.
