ORDINANCE NO. 577
BEING AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE BLANKET BOND COVERAGE
OF CITY EMPLOYEES HANDLING CITY MONIES AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LAUREL, MONTANA:
Section 1. That all city employees handling monies be-
longing to the City of Laurel, shall henceforth be covered by a blanket bond,
covering all city employees who handle city monies; said bond being in the
amount of $
Section 2. That the city employees to be covered by said
bond shall include the following: City Treasurer, and any deputy thereof;
City Clerk and any deputy thereof; Police Judge and any deputy thereof; City
Librarian and any assistant thereof; Park Attendant at Riverside Park;
Police Chief; Radio Operator in the Police Station.
Section 3. It is herewith declared that an emergency exists
in regard to the passage of this Ordinance and the same shall be in full force
and effect upon its passage.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Laurel and approved by
the Mayor this 19th day of July, 1966.
