ORDINANCE NO. 72
BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13-29 OF CHAPTER XIII
REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LAUREL OF 1961.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LAUREL THAT SECTION 13-29 OF CHAPTER XIII REVISED ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF LAUREL IS HEREBY AMENDED TO PROVIDE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. (29) Drivers, when approaching street intersections,
shall look out for and give right-of-way to vehicles on their right approaching
the intersection; providing, however, that the vehicle passing along a street
or avenue shall have the right-of -way over a vehicle coming out of an alley.
"Emergency vehicles", by which term is.meant fire apparatus and fire vehicles,
vehicles of the police department and ambulances, shall have the right-of-way
over all other vehicles and in respect to one another, they shall have the
right-of -way in the order named.
Section 2. That all remaining provisions of Chapter XIII
shall remain the same and not be affected by this ainendmant and shall be in
full force and effect.
Section 3. That this amendment shall be in full force and
effect thirty (30) days after its passage.
