ORDINANCE NO. 571
BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER XIII OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LAUREL, BY THE ADDITION THERETO
OF A PARAGRAPH REQUIRING THE DRIVER OF ANY MOTOR VEHICLE
TO HOLD A CURRENT DRIVER'S LICENSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAUREL,
THAT CHAPTER XIII OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LAUREL BE AMENDED BY THE ADDITION THERETO OF THE FOLLOWING:
(67). No person shall operate or drive any motor
vehicle within the City of Laurel without possessing a current and valid
Driver's License issued by the State of Montana, if the driver thereof be
a resident of the State; or if a non-resident of the State, then the driver
must have a current and valid Driver's License issued by the state of his
residence.
That all of the other provisions of said chapter shall remain
in full force and effect and that this addition thereto shall be in force and
effect within thirty (30) days after its approval and passage by the City
Council.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this
6th day of July, 1965.
