ORDINANCE NO. 567
BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER XVI BY THE ADDITION
THERETO OF A REGULATION ON THE KEEPING OF PIGEONS WITHIN
THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF LAUREL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LAUREL, MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That Chapter XVI of the Revised Ordinances
of Laurel of 1961 is hereby amended by the addition thereto of sub-section 4,
which shall read as follows:
(4) No person shall keep or maintain pigeons on his
premises for the purpose of breeding, raising or showing, or for any other
purpose; nor shall any person keep or maintain any building, hutch or coop
in which to raise or maintain pigeons on any premises owned or controlled
by such person.
SECTION 2. All other provisions of said Chapter XVI
shall remain in full force and effect and shall not be affected hereby.
SECTION 3. This amendment shall be in full force and
effect thirty (30) days after its passage.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this
7th day of April, 1964.
